The speakers
Fokko Muller, street photographer, Olympus visionary and UPR juror, and Jurgen Onland, street photographer and winner of several UPR awards including first place at UPR London 2018, talked about their experience of the race. The talks were in Dutch.
Street photography changed my way of looking into the world. I like being on the streets, seeing the interaction between people and hearing the fragments of their conversations. The best thing about street photography is that you walk out the door and never know what you bring home in your camera.Fokko Muller
I want to discover myself and know what’s going on in my mind. Therefore I use photography as a tool for this self exploration. Feelings and thoughts are transformed into pictures which are often anecdotal and tell a little story.Jurgen Onland
A second Olympus Touch & Try followed at UPR Rotterdam 2019, on Friday 7 June.
