Three framesthat buildone idea
One photograph is a moment. Three can hold an idea: a shared visual language, one thought seen from more than one angle, and an order that would lose something if you changed it. Sequencing is a different skill from making one strong picture. You learn it by building a series and hearing where it held and where it broke.
A series holds when its three frames share a visual thread, carry one idea and gain something from their order.

How it works, in three steps.
In the order you want them read, with a title and, if you want, a short statement.
Three jurors read every series on the same five dimensions: the visual thread, the idea, the order, the theme and the craft.
Every entrant learns where the series held and where it broke.
Every series gets written feedback on the five dimensions the jury reads, so you know where it held and where it broke, and you can use that in the next one. A juror writes every response.
Enter and find out whether your series holds: you hear back either way.
Series that hold. The award is new, so there are no winners yet: these series come from the Urban Photo Race, where the jury reads a series in the same way.
