The order is part of the work, and it is judged.
No statement and no explanation: the series has to work on its own.
Print-ready files are only asked from shortlisted entrants.
A season, in four steps.
Three frames in the order you want them read, and an optional title. That is the whole entry.
The jury reads each series as one work, on the five dimensions.
The three winners and the shortlist are published together, with credit.
Whatever the result, you get written feedback on the pillars and the remove-one test.
Two seasons a year, six months apart: one in spring, one in autumn. Each season has its own theme, its own guest juror and its own results. The first season opens in 2027, for photographers anywhere in the world.
€35per series
Entry is €35 per series, the same for everyone, whenever you enter. There are no discounts. Four rules keep the fee fair, and all four are fixed:
Each photo can appear in only one series per season, so three series are nine different frames.
At most three series per photographer per season. Enough to show your range, few enough that each one is intentional.
One prize per photographer per season, your highest placement counts.
The fee is the only payment. Nothing you can buy changes how your series is read.
Open to all levels, no professional or amateur divisions.
Three prizes and a shortlist every season, published together with credit.
A free ticket for a UPR race, and a feature.

Written feedback tied to the pillars and the remove-one test.
Once a year, an expanded panel chooses the Series of the Year from both seasons.
The feedback follows the way the jury reads. It covers the five dimensions and the remove-one test, so you can see where the thread held, where the idea repeated instead of developing, and whether the order works. Every response is reviewed by a juror before it is sent.
