The very first edition of the Urban Photo Race... 08 October 2011. The stage was set, we were in for a ride.
The Urban Photo Race was born out of the search for photographic challenges, an idea shaped by the experience and dedication of friends who gathered around the same passion and filled a gap they saw in the city.
The first edition was a private one, not only to test the format but also to keep the experience controllable. The organisers gathered much-needed lessons and useful tips from the friends who participated, crucial to the success of every edition that followed.
Every participant who finished the 1st edition of the Urban Photo Race delivered eighteen photos, three per theme. The jury, also participating in such an event for the first time, proved resourceful and helpful for the development of future editions.
