Utrecht19 Sep 2020

Run during the coronavirus pandemic with safety precautions in place, this edition offered two parallel formats: a Full Race (12 hours, six themes) and a Small Race (6 hours, three themes), each with its own podium and prize pool. Themes mixed Utrecht-specific references, including a nod to the FC Utrecht club song, with pandemic-era realities like "Keep your distance."

Given the course of the race day, we succeeded and we did not endanger anyone. On the day we were blessed with fantastic weather and a good turnout with motivated participants. We have made a mix of themes related to Utrecht and current events. Some themes were more of a challenge for the participants than others, but given the results we are very surprised at the results and the creativity. We enjoyed the many beautiful photos and the positive reactions, which motivates us to organize the next Urban Photo Race. Until next time!
