Four themes through Utrecht from morning to evening, with a juror's webinar on the winning photographs and the race's own issue of Dutch Street Magazine.
On Saturday 25 May 2024 the race went to Utrecht, with four themes spread over the streets and corners of the city, from the morning until the evening: With You, Hidden Structures, Resistance and Everybody Famous. It was organised by the Dutch team, Jeff, Dennis and Jurgen.
After the results, juror Jorgen Polman of FORUM Beeldtaal gave a webinar about the winning photographs, with advice for racing UPR and time for questions, and the recording can still be watched on YouTube.
The race also had its own magazine: an issue of Dutch Street Magazine, A5 with 44 pages, with the winning photographs, the theme winners, the jury favourites and one photograph by every racer, printed in 50 copies.
The winners
Kenny Douwenga won Best Photographer and the theme Hidden Structures, and was also a jury favourite. Marco Bollaart was second and won Everybody Famous, and Sarah Alzalab was third and won With You. Resistance went to Petra Opperman, and the other jury favourites were Fernando Coelho and Willeke Kieft.
