Andrew Kirkwood · Berlin 2017

The third Berlin race, twelve hours from Café Seerose to Café Luzia, won by Andrew Kirkwood, a theme winner in 2015 and second in 2016.

Berlin raced for the third year running on Saturday 9 September 2017, closer to the summer than before, from 10:00 to 22:00: twelve hours, six new themes, eighteen photographs and four checkpoints. The first and the last checkpoint were announced in advance, Café Seerose in the morning and Café Luzia at night, and the two in between came with the theme cards on the day.

The Berlin team, Nutabi Camargo, Marta Orlando, Mayur Vadhvani and Philipp Wolfart, ran the race. Only the podium was published: Andrew Kirkwood first, after a theme win in 2015 and second place in 2016, Wolfgang Philipp second and Christina Krause third, one photograph each.

Three photographers judged every series.
