The final of the 2021 season: twelve hours and six themes between the city and the beach of Scheveningen.
The last race of the 2021 season ran on Saturday 11 September through Den Haag and Scheveningen, starting at the Anna van Buerenplein: twelve hours between the city and the beach, with six themes, Doet me goed (does me good), Tunnelvisie (tunnel vision), Lekkâh belangrèk (Hague dialect), Onder druk (under pressure), Unmute and Badgasten (beach guests).
Each race earned points for the season: from the jury's ranking, two points for every juror who chose a racer's photograph as their favourite, and five for the public's favourite, chosen in first rounds on Zoom.nl and a knock-out on Instagram.
In Den Haag the jury favourites went to Kenny Douwenga, chosen twice, Rob van Hoorn and Peter Nijsen, and the public also chose Kenny Douwenga.
After three races Emiel Pol won the 2021 season with 35 points, one ahead of Michael Szarpak, with Marco Bollaart third.
