Another well succeeded event! This year the team broke another registration record. Not everyone finished, but that was expected. What mattered was that people came, did their best to finish, and above all had fun participating.

Over the years, the most valuable thing has been the beautiful network formed around this event. Thanks to Marta Orlando, Ian Vennik and Beatriz Pineda for helping out with race day tasks, to every checkpoint location visited, and to all participants for translating the team’s ideas into great images.

The Amsterdam Urban Photo Race 2016 was again very successful, tiring and inspiring! Thanks for organizing it again and see you all in 2017!

Global Theme: "Perfect Place"

This year UPR Amsterdam joined the international Photo Marathon network again, sharing a common Global Theme, "Perfect Place", with cities including Dublin, Shenyang, Nice, Patras, Copenhagen and Berlin.

Awards ceremony at Volkshotel

On Sunday 9 October, UPR hosted the 2016 awards ceremony at Volkshotel, welcoming participants, friends, sponsors and collaborators. Jury chair Fokko Muller shared how carefully he rates every photo before submitting his selection. Every winner was awarded in person, many having travelled a long way to attend.
