Berlin again, with six themes, eighteen frames and Philipp Wolfart winning for the second time running.
The second Berlin Urban Photo Race ran on Saturday 10 September 2016. It closed, as the first had, with an exhibition at the Wale Cafe on a Saturday evening, with every series projected in a dark room and the winners announced there.
The jury, Jeremy, Ferry and Christian, chose the winners, and Christian told the room how they had made the selection. Mattia Grigolo and Francesca Addei of the Wale Cafe hosted the exhibition for the second time.
The six themes of the day were Food for the soul, Contrasts, Extravagance, Coexistence, Perspective and Almost. Philipp Wolfart, winner of the first Berlin race, won again and took two of the six themes with him; Andrew Kirkwood, a theme winner in 2015, finished second and took a theme as well.
For everyone who could not come to the exhibition and wrote to ask, the team put the results and every winning series online, and they are here below.
